About us
Fix It physical therapy is a community based clinic emphasizing movement care for all ages and abilities. We are in our 10th year and expanding into our second clinic. We are experts in manual therapy and the movement system with the goal of restoring function and increasing activity level and play. Our second clinic, situated in the heart of Maple Grove, is a brand new build that emphasizes not only the health of the client but also the physical therapist. Doors to the new clinic will open February 1, 2023. We are client- centered, confident, professional advocates that work in a positive, happy, flexible environment. We are not your usual 9 to 5 physical therapy clinic. We have found our way out of the rat race where we can do what we love to do, work with people, and not experience the burnout.

```Duties:```
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine the best course of treatment
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Implement manual therapy techniques using the F.A.S.T Approach (this will be taught to you) and assign exercises to improve patients' strength, mobility, and function
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their condition at home
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other physical therapist, personal trainers and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
```Experience:```
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Strong interest in manual therapy and movement
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- The want to work with all ages and abilities (pediatric experience is a plus but not necessary.)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or manage chronic conditions. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to improve their quality of life.
Requirements:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
